My Assignment 1 Project Proposal will be a travel organiser/planner. It is more a personal project toned to where abouts I would love to travel in the future, although the idea of providing it as a service is not completely cut out. The purpose of the TapTravel web server is to provide the user's planned vacation or trip in a presentable and clean way. It can be thought of as a digital wallet in which it provides key information, dates, locations and other various information related to the proposed trip. TapTravel may also offer some form of recommendations for places near or related to the user's searches and provide discounted trips to better suit the user's needs and requirements. The main features and concepts that may be included may be a dedicated area towards the holiday itinerary offering a clear structure, guides offered related to the destination chosen, providing the user with places with great reviews such as restaurants and other areas, being able to book the trip through the following web server.

This project proposal revolves around the idea of wanting to travel the world and in search of exploring new unforseen places whilst minimising the difficulty and struggle of preparing and having to maintain a well structured layout of the planned trips. It will offer user friendly features and allow new users or in this case the creator to be able to create new experiences without the hassle or concern of where next might the user need to be or whats on the agenda for a particular day being arranged prior to the trip.

TapTravel may offer various benefits for a user's experience including the following:
- Offering detail recommendations and reviews of the area chosen.
- Creating itineraries based on the user's hobbies and interests.
- Potentially providing deals and discounted trips to loyal user's.

This web server promotes a sense of relief to the user by offering all the necessities the user may need and creating a smooth experience to enjoy the holiday to the fullest potential!

The license that will be utilised is the GNU General Public License, a copyleft license that will best serve for this websites purpose. As this is a website will be based as a public forum where experiences and opinions of users can be shared through the community, a copyleft license such as GNU GPL will allow the website to be open source and accessible by the users of the site.This requires the use of a copyleft license for a free software, which in this case will be TapTravel. These will align with the given website as it is a community based forum for users to share their experiences and opinions, allowing new improvements to be applied to offer up to date information for the whole of the community to benefit off of. This ensures the community promotes regular contribution and offers a sustainable approach towards offering reliable and free minded opinions to share.
